What Does Your Dream Home Actually Look Like? A Complete Home Interior Design Project | ArchitectsHive

You’ve saved hundreds of Pinterest boards. You’ve watched countless home tour videos. Yet somehow, nothing you’ve seen feels quite right for the home you’re imagining. That gap — between inspiration and reality — is exactly where great interior design lives.

At ArchitectsHive, we don’t replicate trends. We translate your lifestyle into spaces that feel genuinely, unmistakably yours. Our recently completed residential interior design project in Zirakpur, Punjab for Mr. Goel’s family is a perfect example of what that philosophy looks like in practice — across 1,750 sq.ft. of thoughtfully designed living space.

Here’s a detailed walkthrough of every key space, the design decisions behind them, and why this project continues to set the benchmark for luxury home interior design in Punjab and Delhi NCR.

This elegant residential elevation showcases a refined neoclassical architectural style featuring tall classical columns, ornate balcony railings, and a dramatic double-height glass facade that enhances natural light. The design blends traditional symmetry with modern materials, creating a luxurious and timeless appearance. Warm exterior lighting, landscaped greenery, and decorative gates further enhance the visual appeal of the residence.

Exterior & Front Elevation Design: Your Home’s Permanent First Impression

In modern house exterior design, the facade isn’t decoration — it’s communication. Before anyone steps through your door, your home’s exterior has already defined how people feel about the space.

For the Goel residence, we designed a three-story neo-classical front elevation that speaks confidently in the language of contemporary India. The exterior features:

  • Off-white textured plaster with clean cornices and classical pilasters — a finish that remains visually relevant for decades, not just design seasons
  • Ornate wrought-iron scroll railings on each floor balcony, adding handcrafted character rarely found in standard residential construction
  • A walnut wood main door framed by a decorative laser-cut metal gate — making the entrance feel both secure and ceremonial
  • A patterned tile approach pathway flanked by landscaped planters and wall-mounted exterior sconces

Come evening, warm facade lighting transforms the entire elevation into something genuinely striking. If you’ve been searching for bungalow front elevation ideas or modern villa exterior design in Punjab, this project shows exactly what’s possible when classical proportions meet contemporary execution.

Living Room Interior Design: Where Luxury Meets Livability

Ask any interior designer in India and they’ll tell you — the living room is the single most important space to get right. It’s the room guests remember, the room your family gathers in, and the room that sets the design tone for everything else.

Our approach for this modern living room design was built around one clear intention: bold contrasts anchored by natural warmth.

The Accent Wall That Changes Everything

A deep navy-blue textured accent wall forms the emotional backbone of this room. Far from overwhelming, it creates depth and a sense of sophisticated calm — the kind of accent wall idea for living rooms that photographs beautifully and feels even better in person. Two large abstract artworks hang against it, lending a curated gallery quality without feeling stiff or formal.

Stone-Clad TV Feature Wall

Directly opposite, the TV unit design is built around a rough natural stone cladding feature wall — one of the most searched and admired interior design trends for 2025–26. Stone ages with grace, interacts with light beautifully throughout the day, and instantly elevates the room’s overall character. Floating walnut shelves with warm LED underlighting sit on either side — open, clean, and purposefully styled. Below, a sleek walnut TV console keeps storage discreet and the aesthetic streamlined.

This contemporary living room interior showcases a sophisticated blend of natural textures and modern design elements. The focal point is a textured stone TV feature wall paired with warm wooden panels and illuminated display shelves, creating a cozy yet elegant ambiance. Soft neutral furnishings, layered lighting, and large curtains enhance comfort while maintaining a refined aesthetic. Designed by ArchitectsHive

Dining Room Design: The Most Underestimated Space in Your Home

Most homeowners dedicate significant budgets to their living room and kitchen — and treat the dining area as an afterthought. At ArchitectsHive, we firmly disagree. The dining room is where birthdays are celebrated, where long conversations happen over slow meals, where family sits together. It deserves exceptional design.

In the Goel residence, the dining room interior design makes a confident, considered statement.

The Dining Table & Seating

A six-seater black marble dining table with brass-tipped hairpin legs anchors the space — elegant enough for formal occasions, relaxed enough for everyday use. Paired with white upholstered chairs on black metal frames, the seating strikes that coveted balance between modern restaurant aesthetic and warm residential comfort.

Statement Chandelier Lighting

Suspended above the table, a sculptural multi-arm pendant chandelier is the room’s defining element. It throws a warm, focused light directly over the dining surface while functioning as a piece of art. If you’ve been looking for dining room chandelier ideas for Indian homes, this is the benchmark.

Modular Kitchen Design: Built for the Way India Actually Cooks

Modular kitchen design remains one of the most searched interior topics in India — and for good reason. The kitchen in an Indian household isn’t a background space. It’s the engine room of the home. It needs to handle heavy daily use, accommodate multiple cooking styles, and still look exceptional. The Goel kitchen was designed with exactly that in mind.

Layout: U-Shaped for Maximum Efficiency

The U-shaped modular kitchen layout is widely regarded as the most practical configuration for Indian homes — and this project demonstrates why. It maximises counter space, creates a natural workflow between prep, cooking, and plating zones, and makes the most of every square foot without the kitchen feeling cramped or disconnected from the rest of the home.

The Colour Story: Green Is the New White

The most conversation-starting decision in this kitchen is its colour palette. While most modular kitchen designs in India default to white or grey, we went with olive green and sage matt lacquer base cabinets paired with natural light oak laminate upper cabinets.

The result is organic, earthy, and completely distinctive. Beyond the aesthetics, the green finish is remarkably practical — it handles smudges and day-to-day use far better than white and looks exceptionally rich under both natural and artificial light. This green and wood tone modular kitchen has become one of the most admired aspects of the entire project.

This elegant modular kitchen features a contemporary design highlighted by olive green cabinetry, warm wooden wall panels, and soft ambient lighting. Glass display cabinets with integrated LED lights add sophistication while enhancing functionality. The L-shaped layout maximizes space efficiency, complemented by built-in appliances and organized storage solutions.

Functional Details That Solve Real Problems

  • Glass-front upper cabinets with internal LED lighting — elegant display storage for your best crockery
  • Dedicated open spice shelf with spot lighting beside the hob — solving the number one frustration in Indian kitchen design
  • Marble-look large-format porcelain backsplash — beautiful and effortless to clean
  • Warm beige stone countertop — complementing the cabinet tones without competing
  • Premium built-in appliances — chimney, five-burner hob, integrated dishwasher, and French-door refrigerator, all flush-fitted for a seamless luxury modular kitchen finish

The step false ceiling with a recessed cove mirrors the architectural detailing found throughout the home — a reminder that in truly well-designed spaces, even the kitchen ceiling is considered.
